Privacy policy
What we collect on this website, why, and how to have it removed.
Who we are
Retief Sales Promotion cc, 12 Ruhr Street, Northern Industrial Area, Windhoek, Namibia. For any privacy question or request, email sales@shop-expo.com or call +264 61 218610.
Visitor tracking
We record basic, anonymous statistics about how this website is used so we can see which pages are useful. For each page view we store the page address, the referring source (for example Google or Facebook), the country the request came from, the device type (mobile, tablet or desktop) and the time of the visit.
A random visitor ID is stored in your browser so repeat visits from the same browser can be counted once rather than many times. It contains no personal information and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser storage.
We also use Google Analytics on this site, which sets its own cookies and is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
Hashed IP addresses
We never store your IP address. It is converted, on our server, into an irreversible hash using a secret salt, and only that hash is saved. The hash lets us exclude our own office traffic from our statistics; it cannot be turned back into an IP address or used to identify you.
Enquiries and quote requests
When you submit the contact form or a quote request, we store what you send us: your name, company, email address, phone number, your message, the products in your quote basket, and the page the enquiry came from. We use this only to answer you and to keep a record of the quotation.
A copy is emailed to our sales team and a confirmation is emailed to you. We do not sell your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list without your consent.
How long we keep data
Website visit records are deleted automatically once they are 12 months old. Enquiry and quote records are kept for as long as needed to service the request and our business records, and are deleted on request.
Requesting a copy or deletion
Email sales@shop-expo.com with the subject “Data request” and tell us whether you want a copy of what we hold or its deletion. Include the email address or phone number you used so we can find the record. We respond within 1–2 business days and complete deletions within 30 days.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle data we will update this page. This version applies from August 2026.
